“The Buena Park Boost has really opened my ears to the usefulness of a high quality clean boost. I found the JFET preamp to be quite interactive with the guitar's pickups and volume knob. Perhaps this seems a bit counterintuitive to those desiring to use a boost. But I found the preamp added some nice frequencies even when not boosting or was closer to unity gain. The slight coloration is highly musical and makes the guitar sit really well in a mix.”
