Im Evan, I build stomp boxes in my garage. My wife Kaley and I live a few miles from the beach and we might be as stereotypically Californian as you can imagine.

My musical journey started in high school, playing in garage bands with my friends, recording terrible demos, you get the idea. I went to college at Orange County Community College, an experience that couldn’t end soon enough. Once I was free of structured academia I was fortunate enough to land some touring gigs, Jack Russell’s Great White being a highlight. Remember “Once Bitten, Twice Shy” ? I played that tune every night for a pretty good chunk of time.

After realizing touring was not my cup of tea I turned my attention to writing and recording music with my friends. Over the course of a few years I co-wrote and played guitar on a handful of well received K-POP records, I even received a Billboard #1 and RIAJ Certified Gold Record for one of them, Shinee’s “The Best From Now On”. That’s when Hollywood came calling (please read that with sarcasm) and I started doing film and TV work. I’ve done short films, dipped my toes in the advertising world, and am proud to have composed music for over 150 episodes of “Documentary Television”. Notable shows include History Channel’s American Pickers and Disney’s Bunk’d (ask your kids).

All these experiences have and continue to shape my understanding of tone and the need for solid gear that delivers the vibes night after night. I want to serve that up to ya’ll with my work here at O.C. Pedal Co.
